CLOAK OF ASHES preview!
I’m editing DRAGONTIARNA: WRAITHS right now, but I also just passed the 10,000 word mark of CLOAK OF ASHES.
A brief preview:
When the High Queen of the Elves recruited me to be her shadow agent, I expected she would give me difficult and dangerous assignments. Like, spying on her rivals, hunting down dangerous creatures, that kind of thing.
And there was some of that. Like the time when I had to find who murdered a dragon. Or that messy business with the wraithwolves and Owen Quell.
But when I became Tarlia’s shadow agent, I didn’t anticipate how often she wanted me to rob hotels.
Like, she wanted me to rob hotels a lot…

For some reason I thought this one had Hakon Valborg, a dead teacher and Nadia going to high school. Which could be hilarious really. Although admittedly I am drawing a blank why Tarlia needs hotels robbed. Can’t even come up with one guess so thumbs up on the hook.
ALSO I HAVE REALIZED SOMETHING……Not ONE mage in any of your books…..has a magic missile spell. It’s a classic JM, a classic!
Well, Nadia’s a busy woman. A lot of things are going to happen in CLOAK OF ASHES! 🙂
