Heh. That was a fun read. Question though, what was the point of Markus? I expected him to show up later and help kick a little ass, but he was just kinda…….there. And then gone. Will he return in Cloak of Dragons? Or was he just there to give me a sense that Shadow Hunters are apparently attracted to slightly insane females?
I want to do more with the Shadow Hunters as an organization further down the road, so that means it’s time to start quietly introducing Shadow Hunters.
As for Nadia and attractiveness, this quote from GOOD OMENS by Pratchett & Gaiman sums it up nicely:
“She was beautiful, but she was beautiful in the way a forest fire was beautiful: something to be admired from a distance, not up close.”
This is something that Nicholas Connor and Victor Lorenz should have considered. 🙂
