one half of Soul of Serpents

I’m pleased to report that the rough draft of Soul of Serpents, the sequel to Demonsouled and Soul of Tyrants, is now halfway done.

S0. 69,000 words in six chapters, written in 54 days. If my pace holds true (and my math is correct), I should have a 138,000 word rough draft finished on August 16th. I hope I can get done sooner.

Perhaps I can. The pace of the plot is quickening – Mazael Cravenlock just rode in pursuit of a rogue Dominiar knight, a renegade necromancer, a serpent priest, and a changeling assassin.
