Ghost Story, by Jim Butcher

Once again, I stayed up all night reading the new Dresden Files book, even though I’m entirely too old to stay up all night reading.*

But, man. Worth it.

Butcher’s got a rare gift – he can tell a complete story, with a proper resolution, in a single volume of a long-running series, while maintaining the overall story arc. A knack, I fear, that eludes many other writers.
