Question of the Week: Travel Entertainment?
It’s time for Question of the Week, which is designed to inspire enjoyable discussions of interesting topics.
This week’s question: what do you do for entertainment while traveling, whether by car, plane, or train? Podcasts, audiobooks, portable games, that kind of thing. No wrong answers, obviously.
The inspiration for this question was the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
For myself, whenever I travel most of the time I’m doing the driving, which obviously narrows the entertainment options. So when I travel, I’m usually listening to audiobooks.
(The image on this post was an early version of the cover for CLOAK OF DRAGONFIRE, but I decided to go in a different direction. I used it for this post because it was one of the few images of a vehicle I had handy.)

Music. Classical, rock, movie scores and video game tunes. If I am travelling, I’m almost always driving, music helps relax and entertain without demanding my attention.
I read. Very often one of your books. (You’ve published 100+ books but because I’ve read them multiple times, I may be at 1,000+ reads of your books).
If I’m driving, I don’t usually have any entertainment.
I love reading while travelling! Kindle is a nice advantage, being easy to carry, and I usually have easy-to-read books to read for travelling – which is of course why I have so many of your books on my Kindle library. They’re simple yet enjoying to read.
