ORC-HOARD and SHIELD OF DECEPTION progress

Starting the week at 50,000 words of ORC-HOARD and 3,000 words of SHIELD OF DECEPTION.

I had hoped to be about 50,000 words before Thanksgiving, so that’s a good sign. Not that I expect to get very much done this week, obviously, but I’ve been making good progress. Still hoping to get the book out before Christmas.

Meanwhile, I was experimenting with various color effects for the ORC-HOARD cover. In the Rivah books, one of the moons of her world is described as red, so I was playing with how that might look.
