10k word day!
I am pleased to report that I wrote 10,000 words of ORC-HOARD today.
This makes my 9th 10k word day of 2024.
Obviously, this was a big leap forward, so if all goes well I hope to finish the rough draft by the end of the week.

Did you somehow slip a day ahead?
This is so awesome! What do you think fuels your 10k word days? And do you ever get burned out afterwards?
A 10k word day has to be a day where 1.) there is nothing else I have to do, and 2.) nothing comes up to interrupt me. Since this has only happened nine times in 2024, obviously this is an infrequent occurrence. š
I don’t think I get burned out, but I hardly ever have two 10k word days in a row. Partly because there always tends to be Real Life stuff to do the next day that I’ve put off.
