Ghost Ascension, a terminal episode
You spring at Sophia, dagger in hand, hoping to take her down before she can react.
She sidesteps, snapping the bronze longsword around in a sideways block.
The blade shears through your dagger like an axe through butter. You feel no resistance, no resistance at all, as it slices through your shoulder and deep into your chest. You see your right arm fall to the ground, the end smoldering and smoking.
You can’t breathe.
No pain. Strange.
Lucan is shouting something. Your name, maybe?
“Bother,” mutters Sophia. “Now I’m going to have to start all over again.”
She yanks the sword free with no apparent effort, smoke rising from the glowing hieroglyphs. You topple, no strength left in your legs.
Darkness swallows you, and the last thing you hear is Scarpian’s horrified screaming.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
Is there a difference between the first and second “Wait until Scarpian and Korthion have fought, and then attack the winner while he is weakened.”?
Wait. Crap! That’s a typo.
Should be fixed for the proper choice now.
It is fixed, thanks 🙂

Yikes! Now I’m wondering if any of the choices are going to help? Maybe we’ve gotten in too deep!
