GHOST IN THE WINDS – chapter 30 of 33
Now on Chapter 30 of 33 of GHOST IN THE WINDS. Three chapters and an epilogue left to go!
I’m not really one for writing in coffee shops, but yesterday I had to drive out of the state for an appointment, and I wrote 4,000 words in two hours while waiting in a coffee shop. Not bad!
I also got to write a scene I initially plotted out back when I was writing GHOST IN THE MASK in 2013, so it was enjoyable to finally reach that scene after thinking it up so long ago.
This week’s writing goal: get to 130k words by the end of Friday.

I’m guessing it is the scene where we finally see/learn why The Star is the Key to The Crystal. I have a feeling that is the scene you are talking about. Ah well. It will be fun and exciting to get there. 😀
That is one of the scenes. There will be another GHOSTS series after GHOST IN THE WINDS, but I don’t want to leave any plot threads hanging from GHOST EXILE. All mysteries will be revealed and all conflicts will be resolved, or so I hope. 🙂
I’ve been assuming the next Ghosts series would deal with the Umbarians and the civil war going on inside the Empire. Maybe/probably the Imperial Succession gets settled, or an official/designated heir decided upon as well.
We shall have to read and fight out. Or in my case, I shall have to write and find out. 🙂
I really LOVE this series and I can’t wait for the next installment of the next Ghost book sequence! It’s more addicting than ASOIAF (imho).
(I hope none of my favorite characters die, though … but alas, it has happened before and could happen again …)
There is so much that can be fleshed out from the world you created. I’d also like to revisit other parts of the Ghost world, like New Kyre. So many possible story arcs and plots, and I can’t wait for you to tell them.
