How come no series book number for each of the books in the Cloak Games series? Once you have a few more of these, how will a reader know the order if said reader shops at amazon?
Oh, huh. I hadn’t noticed before that amazon does indeed number them even on the main page (it’ll say book 2 of 4 or whatever).
I do still wish it was in the title for when I refer back to previous books on the kindle (like when I’m proofreading), but that’s cool that at least the info is available on amazon.
Apple straight-out forbids putting the number in the actual book titles, so I can’t do it there. I suspect Amazon might follow suit at some point, but not yet.
That’s interesting. Does Apple say why they forbid that?
They say it is to prevent keyword stuffing in the book titles and to improve customer experience. Apple generally breaks out the whip hand more often than Amazon or Google, so that is not surprising.
