Caina Amalas was once a deadly Ghost nightfighter, a spy and agent of the Emperor of Nighmar. Now she only wishes to live quietly with her husband.
But civil war grips the Empire, and Caina’s skills are needed against the cruel sorcerers of the malevolent Umbarian Order.
And Caina has a dangerous connection to the Umbarians.
For Caina’s mother had many secrets, secrets that might yet kill Caina herself…
I just finished reading it, another brilliant book!
I’ll be very interested to see how you develop the new characters introduced in this book. I really enjoy all your series but the Ghost books are my personal favourite, if I could give them more than 5/5 on amazon I would.
Thanks! I’m glad you like the new GHOSTS book.
If all goes well, I think I should get to GHOST IN THE GLASS before the end of 2017.
I just finished Ghost in the Ring, and it was wonderful! Definitely worth the wait. I love how you are now introducing a Russian type mythos to the series, I can’t wait to see how this arc will unfold.
I was thinking of writing fan fiction about Ciana and Kylon, with them going to a Japanese based country and having all sorts of adventures there. I’m not sure if I need your permission, but I would feel better with it. I would probabilities your newest book and start after Ghost is the Winds. Is that okay with you?
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it. On a long-running series, it’s a good idea to change the main setting occasionally – it would get dull if every book was set in Malarae or Istarinmul.
Go ahead and write it. My only policies for fan fiction are 1.) please don’t try to sell it, and 2.) I never read it myself.
Sigh…..Iramis and Istanimuul are likely freaking out by now JM. Can they track Caina’s pyrikon or do they have NO idea what happened?
As it happens, that will be a plot point in later GHOST NIGHT books.
Yay! I mean they’re probably kinda embarrassed. Saviors of Iramis plucked out of the middle of the city. Ooops. You really enjoy throwing Caina into danger don’t you?
Well, it would be pretty dull if she wasn’t thrown into danger, I suppose. 🙂
Somehow I missed this announcement. But that said I have just purchased it and will settle back and read it when I get a chance.
Thanks! One of the nice things about ebooks is that they don’t go out of print so there’s no rush.
