Interesting Links #1: Fun With Tablets
I’m trying something new this week. I read a lot of articles about technology, writing, and history on the Internet (probably too many, to be honest), and sometimes I think they’re interesting and I would like to share them. That said, I often don’t have anything profound to say about them, other than “this is interesting.”
So, I think on Friday I’ll do an Interesting Links post, where I share interesting things I’ve read over the course of the past week.
(It would have been Friday, but I did the SILENT ORDER: IRON HAND announcement on Friday this week instead.)
-The Kindle Fire tablets are a good value proposition: You Can Install Google Play on the Latest Fire Tablets in Less Than 5 Minutes.
-I’ve never played Guild Wars 2, but I love the soundtrack: William King on Guild Wars 2’s latest expansion.
-Speaking of the Kindle Fire, the new Fire HD 10 looks like an excellent device: Amazon Updates the Fire HD 10 Tablet with a Lower Price and a 1080p Display.
-You do have to try a lot of things before you find something that works: The secret to Amazon’s success? It’s constantly trying new things.
-No more 32-bit Ubuntu Linux, but I haven’t used 32-bit in year: Ubuntu Is Dropping 32-bit Desktop Images.
-If I buy one of these, my productivity is falling through the floor: Nintendo Super NES Classic Edition Review.
-Draft2Digital is a really useful aggregator, and I use to get my books into iBooks: 10 Sneaky Hacks for Draft2Digital.
-The funniest part of this review is the title: Apple Watch Series 3 review: LTE comes with high monetary and mental costs.

I play a *lot* of GW2. And yes, the new music is impressively atmospheric.
I like the soundtrack so much I actually have the signed CDs.
