SEVENFOLD SWORD & SILENT ORDER updates
I finished writing the rough drafts of SEVENFOLD SWORD: SORCERESS and SHIELD KNIGHT: GAVIN’S TALE sooner than I expected, so now I’m going to write a SILENT ORDER short story that I’ll give away for free to newsletter subscribers when SILENT ORDER: IMAGE HAND comes out later this month.
Next week, if all goes well, I’ll start editing SEVENFOLD SWORD: SORCERESS, and I’ll post the cover image.
And before you ask, CLOAK GAMES: SKY HAMMER will be coming VERY soon. 🙂

Great to hear the updates, looking forward to them all as I draw near to completing Ghost Exile.
I’m intrigued by the Calvin’s Tale plot but I have to ask, do you plan to revisit your idea of further explaining Ridmark’s decision to return the sword of the Dragon Knight? While I liked the story of Third’s salvation I was quite looking forward to that. Another suggestion for a Shield Knight Tale would be an account of the first Battle of Dun Licinia against the forces of Mhalek.
I should write that at some point. The in-universe explanation was that some ambitious nobles were forcing conflicts knowing that the Dragon Knight would be able to win any fight they started, and Ridmark didn’t like that. The Real World explanation was that I wasn’t originally going to write another series with Ridmark as the protagonist, but I changed my mind, and the Dragon Knight is too powerful to use as the protagonist.
Must be getting close to Hammerstrike time!
On today’s task list, after “answer email” is “publish a book!”
Wow, bought it right before lunch and ended up taking a long one. So far is one of the best books I have read of yours so far. The book is flat out awesome.
Thanks! Glad you liked it so far. Wait till you get to the ending. Bet you’ll have another comment then! 🙂
That was pretty amazing. Don’t want to post any specifics but that was an awesome finish and I am eagerly awaiting Magefall. It is unfortunate that Cloak Games hasn’t had the popularity of the Ridmark books. After all Nadia is only 22 as of the end of Hammerstrike.
